This book features five articles that will bring readers closer to Guatemala’s indigenous cofradías and will allow them to explore their history and their present from ethnographic perspectives and from their ceremonial garments, designs, uses, materials and manufacturing techniques. All this, with abundant photographs in which not only the weavings can be appreciated, but their sociocultural context as well.
